I’m going to break this post up into two parts. The first is my typical recap & the second is dedicated purely to collections. (I’ll explain why later)
After breakfast Friday, I literally did nothing all day. It was pathetic haha but I did accomplish 1 thing.. finishing Season 1 of Glee! yesss.. I am officially in lovee with that show!
For a snack I had yet another green monster smoothie– I admit it.. i’m in love ❤ This one had 1 cup of 2% milk, frozen strawberries, frozen grapes, cinnamon raisin peanut butter, & spinach with some ice/water. Drank it up in this awesome snow man mug haha
When dinner time rolled around, I went with my family to the country club for dinner. I tried to not get anxious and make the meal fit my meal plan. I ordered a salad that had some blue cheese/bacon & veggies, dressing on the side and got a salmon filet on top. I also ordered a baked potato to get in some carbs.
I finally got to pick up Gar from the airport! I missed him soo much. It was only 5 nights but it felt like soo much longer. I was with him all night. The next morning I had IOP. We eat lunch there and this was it:
IOP went fairly well. I only have one week left until I go back to school which really surprises me. It has gone by really fast and I’m really glad I did it because I feel like it has benefitted me so much even though sometimes I don’t realize it. I talked to the nutritionist about my anxiety with regards to my lack of movement and increased calories & she reassured me that it is what I need. It made me feel a lot better surprisingly. it’s funny how even when people tell you things you know deep down, it can still really help.
After IOP I hung out with Gardner! I made another Green monster smoothie for a snack & he tried it and liked it. Last night I also went to campus with my friend who was in town & got dinner. It was great to see her and dinner was delicious (no pictures though!)
This morning’s breakfast was a big old yogurt mess with fage2%, 1/4 cup granola, 1/4 cup honey sunshine, a banana, some raisins, & cinnamon raisin swirl. I lOVE these kind of breakfasts!
Lunch was with my boyy and I grilled up one of these & panini’d it in a sandwich with spinach & onions! Ate with an apple, carrots & sweet potato chips
Still been following meal plan. My weight has gone up. Part of me is happy & part of me is scared but I know I must stick with this. It will only make things more difficult if I back down. I Just have to keep remembering that every pound is a pound of health & is getting me inches closer to a “normal” & happy life!!
The second part of my post is dedicated to collections. Growing up, collections were a huge part of my life. My mom told me it is because her Mom (who I am named after) had a lot of collections. I started realizing this lately and thought i’d share with you some of the many collections in my households. Though some are weird, random, & odd I think it is importnat to have individual collections/interests/passions that make you unique. In a way, it is kind of like blogging 🙂
I collect snow globes. Ever since I was a kid, whenever I go on vacation (or my Dad goes somewhere), I always ge ta snow globe!! I have soo many. Gardner always gets me one if he goes on vacation too [he’s a sweetie]
My mom has many strange collections..
& My sister has a collection of tiaras? Not sure why.. haha
Well, there ya have it! My little tidbit about collections. I think they say a lot about people!
